Person centred planning

Whitefield Primary School are always finding ways to improve outcomes for pupils with special educational needs and disabilities. In line with the new SEND code of practice 2014, we will be running person centred planning meetings for pupils with high level needs. These meetings will place the child and their views at the heart of planning for their future. Families are involved in meeting with professionals at school to discuss what we appreciate about the pupil, what their individual needs are, what we can do to help and what their aspirations are for the future.
