Hello,
A good start in primary school will help children to be ready for secondary school and for the rest of their lives! Our first responsibility is to provide a happy and safe environment where children can grow as individuals and experience a quality inclusive education. Happy children are active and enthusiastic learners. We know our pupils well and we do our very best to make sure each child feels valued, relaxed, included and listened to.
In order to do well every child needs to read. Reading is a skill pupils will need in every subject and in all they do; now and in the future. We also believe in strongly promoting reading for pleasure for all families. Our innovative and strong practice in Reading has been recognised locally, nationally and internationally. We were awarded the Liverpool, Gold Standard Reading Quality Mark locally. Nationally we are Network School of the Year, National Literacy Trust 2014 and National Reading Recovery School of the Year
