This is the curriculum for 1/2P. You will see the plan for the whole year, how it is split up each term, and what our expectations are for children in this year group.
As this is a mixed year group the children stay for two years and have a rolling curriculum, covering cycle A (based on the year 1 curriculum focuses such as “The local Area”) one year and then year 2 focusses (such as “The beach”) the next year. They will access the same visits, and the right level objectives for their age group both years.
Children will cover all the statuatory objectives for their year groups over the two years in line with the National Curriculum.
